Software testing, quality assurance, and analysis training is now in high demand in Canada and the United States. The course covers both manual and automated testing, including Front-End and Back-End testing.
The course is based on practical exercises and projects, allowing students to connect to a real-life quality control environment. They will be involved in manual execution of test scripts and automated script generation. Students will also learn terminology, methodology and different testing approaches (Agile, Waterfall and V-model) through real-life projects.
Topics covered include:
- Review and analysis of business requirements
- Creating QA strategy test plans and test cases
- Perform testing for online financial banking web applications.
- Reporting defects
- Learn VB scripts and Java to create automated scripts in HP QTP (UFT) and Selenium WebDriver.
- Close collaboration with Microsoft SQL Production Server for server testing.
This course will be taught via online video conferencing, allowing for interactive interaction between course leaders and students. Pre-recorded sessions are not available.

- Saturday/Sunday: 39 hours, 20 lessons, each lesson – 2 hours (10:00am-12:00pm)
Topics covered in the course include terminology, SDLC, Agile, V-model, waterfall approach, HP QC/ALM tool for manual testing and more. Students will work on projects involving testing web-based purchase order financing and CRM applications using Agile and Waterfall models.
Automation testing tools covered include HP QTP/UFT and Selenium, with a focus on creating automated scripts and data-driven tests. Additionally, students will learn SQL and work with Microsoft SQL Production Server to perform internal testing.
